NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATION: HOLLYWOOD & VIENNA

DELAWARE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AND THE DELAWARE ART MUSEUM

The fabulous New Year’s Eve tradition continues at the DSO, but this time with a Hollywood twist; your orchestra teams up with the Delaware Art Museum.

The first half of the program showcases music by Max Steiner, "Gone with the Wind", Maurice Jarre, "Lawrence of Arabia", John Williams, "Suite from Jaws" and "Raiders March" and many others.  The second half features the wonderful Strauss Viennese Waltzes and Polkas.

After the DSO's concert, the festivities continue at the Delaware Art Museum.  Starting at 10:00PM the Museum will host an elegant celebration with champagne, delicious food, music, art and more.  Tickets ($100-$125) can be purchased by calling 302.351.8512.
